Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 2026 · Version 1.0
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the EVE AI Core platform, EVE CoreGuard, EVE Proof, the SDKs, APIs, and related services and software (the "Services") provided by EVE NeuroSystems LLC ("EVE"). It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. Purpose
EVE provides deterministic governance infrastructure, signed decision evidence, and audit-support tooling for regulated and high-assurance environments. This AUP sets out the conduct required to keep the Services secure, reliable, and trustworthy for every customer. EVE may update this AUP from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services to, or attempt to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate any illegal activity;
- Infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
- Upload, transmit, or process data you do not have the lawful right to provide, or submit special-category, health (PHI), or other sensitive data except as expressly permitted under a separate written agreement (see the Business Associate Agreement for PHI);
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or use the Services to attack, probe, or scan any system without authorization;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including denial-of-service activity, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls;
- Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other customers' data, or supporting infrastructure;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services except to the extent that restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as permitted under your agreement.
3. Governance & Evidence Integrity
The Services produce signed, hash-chained decision-evidence records and governance certificates. You may not:
- Tamper with, alter, or delete audit records or evidence in a manner intended to defeat their integrity;
- Forge, falsify, or misrepresent a governance certificate, signature, or verification result;
- Disable, bypass, or circumvent the deterministic governance gate, or represent ungoverned output as governed;
- Misrepresent an EVE verdict, score, or attestation to a regulator, auditor, counterparty, or end user.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Configuring policies, thresholds, and model-governance decisions appropriate to your use case and legal obligations;
- The lawfulness of the data you submit and for minimizing sensitive data within request and decision content;
- Securing your account credentials, API keys, and signing material, and for activity that occurs under them;
- Determining whether the Services are appropriate for a given regulatory context. EVE does not provide legal, compliance, financial, medical, or regulatory advice (see the Legal Center).
5. Fair Use & Resource Limits
Use must stay within the quotas and rate limits of your plan. Automated or high-volume use that degrades the Services for others, or that is designed to evade metering, is prohibited. EVE may apply technical limits to protect platform stability.
6. Security Reporting
If you discover a vulnerability or a security or integrity issue, report it promptly to security@eveaicore.com and do not exploit it, access data that is not yours, or disrupt the Services. Good-faith research conducted within these bounds is welcome. See Security.
7. Enforcement
EVE may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to the Services, remove offending content, or take other action consistent with the agreement and applicable law. Where practicable EVE will give notice, but it may act immediately to protect the Services, other customers, or third parties. Nothing in this AUP limits any other right or remedy available to EVE.
8. Reporting Abuse
To report misuse of the Services, contact legal@eveaicore.com (legal / abuse) or security@eveaicore.com (security).
9. Contact
Questions about this AUP can be sent to legal@eveaicore.com. See also our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Legal Center.
