Your model inventory and validation program describe intended behavior. EVE AI Core records what a model actually did at runtime — a signed, reproducible decision record bound to the policy version in force.
Model risk management establishes inventories, tiers, and validation cadences — essential controls, but they describe a model at a point in time. The consequential events happen per decision, at runtime, often across silent model and provider changes. When an examiner asks what a specific automated decision was and why, a validation report is not that record. EVE produces the per-decision record at the moment the decision is made.
Every proposed action is evaluated against versioned policy packs before it executes — fail-closed, no LLM in the decision path.
Each verdict is emitted as an Ed25519-signed certificate bound to the exact policy version that governed it.
Re-run any decision and confirm the same verdict — the reproducibility examiners expect from a control.
Behavior is governed by policy, not by whichever model is behind the decision, so silent updates don’t silently change outcomes.
